In short
Select the scene to revise and check that it is unlocked before opening Regenerate with AI. Describe the intended correction, review references and confirm the quoted cost. The new media targets that passage; then inspect product fidelity and transitions in a complete preview.
Choose the scene
- In Video Editor, select the scene and unlock it if necessary. Check that its media is ready and wait for Auto-saved.
- Open Regenerate with AI. Review the prompt, references, duration and camera and lighting settings offered for this mode.
The dialog shows the scene number, label and current duration. Confirm them before editing the prompt. If the project changed elsewhere, reload the requested version: an old regeneration dialog should not confirm a different edit version.
Confirm the correct version
Available choices depend on references and mode. A disabled option cannot be used. If you change a setting, wait for an updated quote and check the cost before Regenerate. An expired quote requires fresh confirmation.
Describe the intended change concretely, avoiding several conflicting intentions. Preparation and quote must match current settings. If Regenerate remains unavailable, read the displayed reason: a locked scene, unready references and an unavailable service require different responses.
Example: rework one targeted passage
Fictional example: the middle scene shows the product, but a visual detail does not match the references. Select that scene, check the offered product images and write an instruction focused on the detail. Keep choices consistent with the authorized mode instead of simultaneously requesting a different setting, action and product.
After processing, watch the passage itself and both transitions. Also check overlays and saved montage duration. If the defect involved only editable text, editing that text and rendering the montage again was a separate option without image regeneration.
Check the new media
Wait for processing and check the produced scene. Review the product and transitions to neighboring scenes, then rebuild the edit. Provider or budget unavailability remains an explicit blocker; it does not trigger a free replacement generation.
