In short
Wait for Auto-saved and check the project version, then distinguish an assembly failure from a download problem. Reopen Export on the same project after addressing the indicated message. If the file is already rendered, check availability before restarting processing or editing scenes.
Check the version
In Video Editor, wait for Auto-saved. If the project changed during export, close and reopen Export to use the new saved version.
Editing text, trimming or order can invalidate a previously ready preview. Check the current version, not just the presence of an old thumbnail. If saving fails, resolve that message before reopening Export: the intended file should match the montage actually saved.
Identify the stage
- If assembly fails, check ready media, durations and the renderer’s message. Correct the indicated cause before retrying rendering.
- If rendering finished but download fails, reopen Export on the same project to check that the file is still available. Avoid restarting AI generation to solve a download issue.
Note whether the error occurs before a result appears, during assembly or after Download file. The first can concern media or renderer availability; the last can concern access to an already produced file. That distinction avoids unnecessarily editing scenes whose result was correct.
Example: a version changed during export
Fictional example: you start Export and then correct the hook in the editor. Processing may refuse to deliver the old version’s file as if it matched the new one. Wait for Auto-saved, reopen Export and produce the current preview. Review the hook and entire video again before downloading.
If only downloading is interrupted, keep the project and check render availability from its export dialog. New AI generation does not repair a download interruption. Give support the exact stage and message if retrieving the file still fails.
Complete the review
Watch the produced version before Download file and confirm the product, text and media. If the issue persists, give support the project ID, message and exact stage. Available export remains MP4 720p High; disabled alternative formats are not a retry solution.
